Maybe, it's a good idea to use these commands for gnome. When such setting is used, Google chrome call ed2k with help of xdg-open, while iceweasel would provide an dialog to choose application.
gconftool-2 -t string -s /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/ed2k/command "/usr/bin/ed2k \"%s\""
gconftool-2 -t bool -s /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/ed2k/enabled true
Hello,
I couldn't find safari in the browser list. Is it ignored? or is that that there is no manipulation to do?

---

'''Well, you can just add it as a ''custom'' browser. If you really think it should be added to the browsers list, post a bug report at http://bugs.amule.org'''

---

I have another question with amule: when I copy a Ed2k link on a server on a web site and copy it it to the commit window, it works only half of the time. The other times it says "invalid Ed2K link" which I am sure it is not, my friends using emule on windows can download them. I am not sure but I have the feeling that it depends of the lenght of the link: If it's longer that the submit window, it will be said invalid.

Is there a way to pass that?
Thanks for your time.

---

'''Please provide some server links which will fail to commit and, again, post them in http://bugs.amule.org'''

'''Thank you :)'''

I'm currently doing a German translation, but I really don't get the exact meaning of first sentence in the Konqueror-section. Would be nice if someone makes this more clear.

'''After reading it a couple of times I think I understand what is meant and I have changed it. It should be clear now.'''
